Meet Danielle

Danielle Johnson, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant through The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a native of the Tidewater area and a graduate of Norfolk Academy. She received her B.A. from Davidson College where she also played Division I soccer. She went on to pursue her M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies from South University in Richmond, VA. She has been surrounded by medicine her entire life as she has a long family history in medicine and dentistry. This is what drew her to the medical field. Danielle’s grandfather was a Dermatologist and Dermatopathologist, her father is a Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon, her mother is an Internal Medicine Physician, and her brother is a Dermatologist.

Danielle has an interest in general and surgical dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and The Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants. Additionally, Danielle is a Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants Diplomate Fellow. In her spare time, Danielle is still an active soccer player, enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring outdoors.
